HOW WE MET!

Shannon worked as a bartender at Decoy's Seafood in Suffolk, VA. She was busy with other customers at the bar when she saw Hunter come in and sit down right in front of her. She ran over to take care of her new customers and start conversation to try and get to know them. Hunter was not feeling talkative after a long day at work and just wanted to go home for the evening. As the night went on, Shannon (annoyingly)continued to talk in hopes Hunter would chime in (spoiler... he did not.) Though he had only said a few words to her, he was intrigued.

After they paid the tab and left, Shannon kept the receipt to try and do some internet stalking later on to find out who he was. But to her surprise, Hunter walked back into the restaurant 30 minutes later! According to his parents, he flew into the house and upstairs, changed his clothing, and sprinted out the door in a matter of minutes. After Shannon got off of work, she and Hunter sat down at a table and talked for hours. The days turned into weeks and weeks to months and months to years.

Over the years, traveling has been the most fun! Between the Biltmore in Asheville, to driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, spur of the moment drive to Tennessee, to see Taylor Swift in Denver, CO, we LOVE to travel together!
